About we.can.boost

We.Can.Boost is a confidence movement built around one simple idea:

Sometimes the right words at the right moment can change someone’s entire day.

What started as a small idea from a 10-year-old girl named Harper has grown into something people now carry into libraries, schools, community events, coffee shops, wellness spaces, and everyday life.

It began when Harper started creating handmade “confidence books” for people around her — family members, teachers, friends, teammates, and even people she barely knew. She never stopped to ask whether someone needed confidence or encouragement first. She simply believed everyone could use a boost sometimes, and she loved writing words that reminded people of their strength, value, and capability — often before they even realized they needed to hear it.

Eventually, that idea grew into something bigger.

One day, we set up two simple bowls in our driveway:

  • one filled with handwritten boosts for people to take

  • one filled with blank cards so people could leave a boost behind for someone else

And something unexpected happened.

People slowed down.

They smiled.
They reflected.
They opened up.
They stayed longer than expected.
Some laughed.
Some cried.
Many said they picked up exactly the message they needed.

That’s the heart of We.Can.Boost.

It’s not about giving people confidence they don’t already have.
It’s about helping people reconnect with the confidence that’s already there.

Because confidence isn’t constant.

It grows.
It gets challenged.
It gets tired.
Sometimes it simply needs a reminder.

We believe confidence can spread person to person in small but powerful ways.
Not through perfection.
Not through performance.
But through simple human connection.

Today, We.Can.Boost continues to show up in communities, events, workplaces, schools, everyday spaces, and unexpected places in between — creating moments where strangers encourage strangers and confidence keeps moving forward.

One small boost can create a big ripple.

And the best part?

Anyone can be part of it.
